We are proud to announce the launch of our new logo as part of the ongoing evolution of the Dover Motion brand.

We refreshed our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolize our view to the future. This change is not a decision we made lightly. We are proud of our rich history, and this is why our new logo retains core elements, including the DOVER name.

How We are Different

At Dover Motion, our mission is, Making Moves That Matter.”

We design and build some of the most accurate and highest quality motion control systems in the world. Our motion domain knowledge is second to none. But that’s just the starting point. Making moves that matter also refers to what we hold important as well as how we conduct ourselves at Dover Motion:

  • At Dover Motion, we promise to provide the right motion system to ensure our client’s success. If that means a custom “design-and-build” or an off-the-shelf motion system or something in-between—that is what we will provide.
  • We will work collaboratively with you to find the right motion solution and adapt our approach to your requirements and preferences to achieve the results you desire.
  • Finally, making moves that matter also denotes our ongoing commitment to innovation. Innovation in not just motion and positioning, but in standard work process, materials, reliability, cost, timing, and more.

We are ever aware that our motion systems are at the heart of instruments that enhance human life and health around the world. In the final analysis, those are the moves that matter most.

Our Heritage

Making Moves That Matter,” also describes our heritage.

Over 50 years ago, we were founded by pioneers who introduced air bearings to the field of motion control. In the years that followed, Dover Motion has made corporate moves that have grown our motion competencies, experience and stature significantly. We steadily moved in the right direction.

Today, we are a division of Invetech, the world’s leading product realization company, a move that enhances the depth and breadth of our engineering expertise while expanding our international reach. As part of Danaher, our clients also benefit from the Danaher Business Systems culture of continuous improvement, and global resources. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

Dover Motion is focused on providing the right motion solutions for customer success in diagnostics, life sciences, and factory automation applications, delivering continuous innovation in our motion offering and expanding our geographic reach.

We never forget that our motion systems are important components within products and instruments that matter to companies and people around the world.
