Repair & Return
Our Policy
All Dover Motion products are covered by a 12-month warranty starting from the date of shipment from our factory.
During the warranty period, all associated repair costs, including parts and labor, will be fully covered.
Return Process and Analysis
All returned products are subject to a detailed analysis by our repair engineering team to determine the cause of the issue. If you require a formal Failure Analysis (FA) Report, this must be indicated on the RMA request form (details below).
Non-Warranty Repair
If your stage is outside of the 12-month warranty or if a defect is determined to be the result of abuse, misuse, or improper application, the product will not be covered under warranty and standard non-warranty repair rates will apply.
Requesting a Return
We've implemented an easy online process for requesting a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
To begin the process, please submit the Return Material Authorization (RMA) Request Form.
- Required Information: The stage serial number and detailed failure description are required to submit the request.
- Confirmation: You will receive your RMA confirmation number and return label via email within 48 hours of submitting the form.
- Failure Analysis: If you require a formal Failure Analysis (FA) Report, please be sure to indicate this on the RMA request form. Otherwise, a standard repair report will be provided.
Shipping Costs
The responsibility for shipping costs depends on your product's warranty status:
- To Our Factory: Freight costs for shipping the product to our factory are paid by the customer, regardless of warranty status.
- Warranty Returns: If the RMA is covered under warranty, we will return the unit at our expense.
- Non-Warranty Returns: If the RMA is not covered under warranty, the unit will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Repair Lead Time
We target a repair and return time of 30 days. This lead time is an estimate and is subject to the availability of replacement components. Delays in RMA rework will be communicated to the primary contact provided.
Final Instructions
Any additional, specific shipping instructions or details will be provided once the Sales Order Acknowledgment is generated.
